I want textedit to print in colour/color but it doesnt!
I check presets but it wont show anything its just black and white and i'm trying to find a tutorial so I had to join discussions.apple.com to help me.

With a Text Edit window open use the Command + P keyboard shootout. When the print window opens make sure B & W is not selected.
It should print in color.
Please test after taking each of the steps below that you haven't already tried.
Step 1
Follow the manufacturer's instructions to print a test page. If the page is not in color, something is wrong with the printer, such as clogged ink heads.
Step 2
The Print dialog varies according to the application and the version of OS X. There are pulldown menus labeled Printerand Presets, and sometimes one labeled Paper Size. Below those is a divider with a menu that has no label. From that menu, select
Color Matching
and then, below the divider, select the option marked
Vendor Color Matching
where Vendor is the name of the printer manufacturer, such as HP or Canon.
Step 3
Open the Printers & Scanners preference pane in System Preferences and delete the print queue, then add it back.
