How can I play my music cd's on my mini mac with optional cd/dvd player….I am stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!

Mac mini (Late 2014), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Since that Mac does not have an internal CD/DVD drive, the only way to play CDs is with an external CD/DVD drive.

Do you have the optional player? If you do insert a CD and iTunes should open to the CD's window.
