Dried phone for 3 days. Plugged into desktop. No sign of phone being alive. Tried charging. Same result. Want to retrieve photos only.
If you do not have an iCloud or iTunes backup, or you did not import those photos to your computer, they are gone.

Thanks for your reply. Would a specialist be able to recover the data from the memory component in the damaged phone?
I have no way to know that. Someone would need to look at the device to determine that. Your only option would be to find a 3rd party repair shop, and take it in to them to have it evaluated.
