I inadvertently misspelled my email address in iCloud..how do I correct it?

If you misspelled it, how did it sign in without an error? Sign back out and then, sign back in.

Or, maybe I'm not understanding what you are saying.

Sorry, but I don't understand the log out you are trying to do. Exactly what are you trying to log out from? You will have to give more clear and detailed info on what your are trying to do.

And what are you trying to sing into and getting the wrong password message?

What password did you use when you logged in?

So you're not logged in. There is no need to log out if you're not logged in.
