How to remove activation lock I totally forget my ID and password

You will need to bring that phone to an Apple or authorized repair center with the documents of proof of purchase and your identity

Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.

Then I am not sure there is a recourse - you may want to see if the person you bought it from can provide the documents - else the phone may become of no use to you

Also - if the phone is activation locked it usually gives the first letter and the email provider of the Apple ID eg m********@disney.com - does that help to jog your memory?
