why does it ask for credit card info if there is a gift card with money in it? it will not let me purchase.
first time this has happened. it gives an option of 'none' but it doesn't accept it. it continues to request credit card info.

Have you previously entered a credit card with this Apple iD?
Reason I ask because the over age 18 verification is also accomplished this way
