Is it possible to transfer Microsoft Office (2010) from USB of which has the Microsoft office programme on it, to my Macbook air?

I have Microsoft office 2010 on my USB (as i have transferred it onto the USB from the CD via my PC). I was just wondering if and how I can transfer the Microsoft office programme onto my macbook air. It hasn't allowed me to do this as windows is not supported on OS.

Is there another way?

Many thanks! (i only recently got my macbook air and i am a student. Microsoft office is essential for me) :-)

No. Office for PC is not the same as Office for Mac. You would have to purchase the Mac version from Microsoft.

Depending on where you are a student at, and if they participate in one of the Microsoft Programs, there is the possibility that you can get Office 365 through the school. This applies to higher learning institutions, such as colleges or universities.

For future posts "USB" is a connection type, not a device. You could have a speaker attached by USB. We presume you mean a drive of some sort but this may not always be clear.
