Different time and date while importing

I'm trying to import an archived movie file into iMovie.

If I Import the movie into Photo, I got the right date and time.

If I Import it (from same file on my desktop) into iMovie, I got a wrong date and time, corresponding to "modified date" of the file.

If I select the same movie from photo library inside iMovie, I am able to see the right date and time but if I import the movie, it is imported with the"modified date"

I have also tried to export the movie from Photo, but the file got the export date and time....
