Shuffle stopped working in one specific playlist

The shuffle function stopped working in my favorite playlist - but it works in other playlists. So I created a new playlist and copied all the songs in the original playlist to the new one. Same problem - shuffle doesn't work. Version 12.3.3.17 iTunes for Windows 7.
