Optimized Photo Issues

My phone is currently optimizing all my photos and videos because I am a dummy with a 16 GB phone.

It used to wait a little before it optimized my photos and videos. Now it seems to immediately do this. It is frustrating because if I try to back photos and videos up via OneDrive, it doesn't recognize the optimized files.

2nd issue is that if I try to attach a picture to a text or email it will not. I will select a picture to text and it will load the optimized picture and nothing will be in the text box. Same thing with emails. THIS IS FRUSTRATING!

Any suggestions???
