Q: Can I trade a old MacBook for a new macbook?
i wanna know if i can trade in a very old MacBook for the latest one because I don't wanna spend 1,299 dollars on a new one because Its wasting money also do I need a receipt to trade it in, Please tell me a anser so I could enjoy my futuristic computer.

If your old MacBook is from 2007 or newer, start at the "Get Started Online" section here:
http://www.apple.com/recycling/
Whether it is that new or not, you may be able to sell it (with no involvement from Apple) and then use that money to purchase a new one.
