i wanna know if i can trade in a very old MacBook for the latest one because I don't wanna spend 1,299 dollars on a new one because Its wasting money also do I need a receipt to trade it in, Please tell me a anser so I could enjoy my futuristic computer.

Whether it is that new or not, you may be able to sell it (with no involvement from Apple) and then use that money to purchase a new one.
On the USA portal for Apple they provide on the Recycling page an option to get trade in credit for MacBooks, iMacs depending on condition and year. Though this is only available from third party resellers in Canada as Apple.ca has yet to offer this service for Macs.
I tried that myself, but u actually get more money from places like Gazelle. Even for a Early 2015 model Mac laptop u get $900
