Q: Wiping one of two iPhones on same Apple ID

I Have an iPhone 4s and an iPhone 6sPlus on the same Apple ID.

I want to wipe clear the 4s without affecting the 6sPlus.

How do I do this?

iOS 9.3.1, 4s and 6splus

On the iPhone 4S, go to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings

Do I have to sign out of iCloud before I do this, since my 6s Plus is on the same Apple ID? Thanks!

No, this will only erase the phone, not your Apple ID account or data.

- ON the 4S - you will have to sign out of Find iPhone - as a matter of fact you will be prompted to when you erase the content - that in and of itself will remove it from your iCloud list and release the Activation lock
