Q: remove iPhotos App???

Photos App has lost the plot !!!! Ridiculous multiplication of duplicates out of control !!! iPhotos Trash is HUGE ... unable to delete ...  forever having to Force Quit ... have tried waiting for every pic to load & then Select & Delete from iPhoto Trash in batches of 50 or more ... am only successful occasionally ... I'll be 100 years old if I continue this way!  iPhotos library has supposedly been migrated to Photos so am I correct in understanding it's aok to now remove iPhoto App for good????

You can but it is a really bad idea - it is difficult to impossible to get the iPhoto app again in the future is you need it

From your post I'd guess you really want to trash the iPhoto library rather than the app - that you also can do but (although your post gives no idea as to what your problem really is or what you want to do) it is unlikely to save much space
