Apr 29, 2016 4:49 PM in response to YairKobiby Carolyn Samit,If your Mac is running v10.11.3 as your profile suggests, updating the OS X software may help the Spotlight issue. The v10.11.4 update is available.
Click your Apple top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click About this Mac
Make sure the Overview tab is selected then click Software Update.
Your Mac may restart several times during the update process. That’s ok.
Then try Spotlight.
If your software is actually up to date, rebuild the Spotlight index. Instructions here > Rebuild the Spotlight Index
Then try a search again.
