Deleted iCloud account, can't activate iPad

Hello,

I'm the owner of an iPad (I don't really know the model, I bought it before iPad Air came out).

It used to be linked to an iCloud account, Locate my iPad was on.

I wanted to restore it back to default, but I needed the password of the iCloud account, which I didn't have. So I called Apple Support, they said they deleted my iCloud account. I succesfully restored the iPad using DFU mode.

But the problem is the account is somehow still linked to the iPad : it asks me for the password before activating. So basically I can't use my iPad.

What should i do ?
