iMovie expand/magnify/stretch the time line

Hi,

I'm learning to use iMovie and would like to magnify or stretch the horizontal timeline so that it is easier to see more time detail. Now, I do not mean alter the time length of a movie clip - just the scale that the video lies against - the time line. Is this possible with iMovie?

Sure you can do that. Under the viewer is a slider which allows you to expand the timeline. Also click settings and you will see a slider to change the clip size.
