TRY THIS: Ipad will not connect to facetime or iMessage

I have been baffled by this for the last few days. TRY THIS: Make sure the date and time on your I-device is set properly. On my son's iPad, the date and time was out by 2 weeks. As soon as I corrected it, it connected no problem.
