How does Macbook 12" works with large office files?

Hi, Im looking to buy the Macbook 12", in may daly job the most I ask of my current Macbook 13" pro (Early 2011) is to run excel and powerpoint files, but some are larger than 20mb, some up tu 80mb. Can the Macbook 12" handle this files? or should I buy the Macbook pro again? The reason I like the 12" is portability, i travel a lot, but i need it to work with this type of files.
