my calendar is stuck on "moving calendars to server account" after mountain lion update

HOPE TO HEAR SOME ADVICE PLEASE:)

iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

1) Go to your user library folder (~/library). Hold down the option/alt key while accessing Finder's Go menu.


2) Go to the calendar folder


3) remove any files that say "cache" (put them on your desktop just in case you want to move them back in later)


4) Still in the user library folder, go to the preferences folder


5) Remove the com.apple.calendar.plist files (to desktop again)


6) Restart your computer
