Exporting large files as AIFF from Logic Pro

I am using Logic Pro 10.2.2, on an iMac running OS X 10.11.4. I am a dj - I have mixes that are 2 - 4 hours long - I mastered them in logic - I want to export as AIFF - I get the "The bounce file exceeds the maximum file size (AIFF 2 GB; WAV 4 GB). - Please change the format to CAF, or decrease the bounce range."

Is there a way around this? Is there really a max at 2GB for AIFF? I want best quality - uncompressed files. I brought them in from DAT and want a good archive. Any suggestions? Thank you!

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

Yes: Use the CAF or WAVE format

Yes 2 GB for AIFF. Standard BWAV files are restricted to 4GB, but LPX now supports the WAVE RF64 format which allows for files >4GB (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RF64)

You could bounce to a Wave file or to a CAF.

There will be no difference: none use data compression.
