Mouse not connected message, but don't have Bluetooth mouse. This happened after the restart froze. I shutdown and powered up, then got the message

iMac, Mac OS 9.1.x

I understand that, despite having a wired mouse connected, your Mac tries to have you connect a bluetooth mouse. In such a situation it can often help to reset your Mac's SMC and NVRAM, as detailed in the articles below.
