iCloud sync with Photos

Hi,


My Photos library on my Mac is about 80GB. I'd like to download photos and videos to my Mac automatically (without plugging in my phone) but the only option is to sync Photos with iCloud, in which case, it's trying to upload my 80gb library into iCloud. I don't want this, I just want to sync to download new ones. Is that possible?

If you just want to transfer new photos, use My Photo Stream on your iPhone and Mac , not iCloud Photo Library.
