Some amount of warmth is normal with usage particularly heavy usage like streaming a video
Do a Force restart
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If the issue persists
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.
