Magic Mouse 2 Gestures Not working

Hey there , My magic mouse 2 is not working properly , my macbook pro detect it as a regular mouse , when i connect it via the lightning cable it does show the gestures options in ( system preferences=> Mouse) but one i disconnect it, it comes back to a regular mouse again , no scrolling no swiping , just moving + right/left clicks
i'm running a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) OS X El Capitan 10.11.4

Can anyone help me with this please ?
