Q: When using Boot Camp, how can I get restarting from the Start Menu to work?

I am using a Mac mini 2014 base model, running 10.11.4 side by side with Windows 10.

When I use start>restart, instead of restarting to Windows, which I set as the default, it will simply hang on a black screen with the power LED on and I have to turn it off by holding down Power and turning it back on again. Sometimes it just turns off. This is really inconvenient!

I am going to try the boot camp icon and resetting NVRAM and will edit this post (or reply, I only just started using apple support forum so I don't know if you can edit posts) with results.

I have tried the boot camp icon and NVRAM. Neither worked.
