timelapse crop all frames not working

I am having trouble trying to crop all frames in a clip or even in the viewer before importing into the timeline. I am selecting all frames each time and trying both fit and bothe fill options and pushing enter or the checkmark to apply. It will only crop the frame that my time indicator bar is on and not the entire set of frames. I have watched tutorials online and see people doing it successfully but no information as to problems why it won't sometimes. All images are from the same sequence. Is it possible I am working with too many images? there are about 275. I don't think this is the case since I just watched a time-lapse tutorial and the guys applied his edits to over 400 images. Any help will be much appreciated. Thank You.
