Hi
My MacBook Pro switches off on startup, then i have to press the power button twice before it will restart, sometimes the grey bar will appear gets half way then switches off again. This is usually the case as many as 10 startups anyone have any ideas as to what i can do to resolve this issue?

- Try starting in Safe Mode

- Boot to Recovery and repair the startup disk

- If it is repairable reinstall the OSX

- If you do not have a backup use disk utility to restore the internal disk to an external disk so you can try to recover data.
Then format the startup disk and do a fresh install of OSX
