White box when I enter my username/password?

I went on icloud.com where I proceeded to type in my username and password like usual and pressed enter. A white box appeared and nothing happened. I keep trying but everytime this white box appears in the middle. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Would you make a screen shot so people can see what you are seeing? Make sure you cover any personal information using Preview. Post the screen shot in a Reply using the camera icon or you can drag the screen shot into a reply. Copy and paste doesn't work.

Try a restart.

Do a backup, using either Time Machine or a cloning program, to ensure files/data can be recovered. Two backups are better than one.

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.

Isolating an issue by using another user account

If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up after waiting 10 seconds. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

I have the same problem but I can't imagine the fix has anything to do with the actual computer.

I was receiving emails at my Yahoo email address that there were log-in attempts to my iCloud account attached to said Yahoo email. I don't even remember connecting that email address to my iCloud. So I went to log-in, used my @me.com email address and logged in just fine. Went to associated email accounts and the Yahoo address wasn't there.

So I logged out, and tried to reset the password to whatever account was connected to my Yahoo email address. I was able to successfully answer the security questions and reset my password. All seemed right.

But when I then tried to log into the iCloud account connected to the Yahoo email address, I get a white box. Chrome. Firefox. Safari. Then I tried the browser on my phone, no luck. They ALL give me the white box after logging in, and within about 10-20 seconds revert back to the log-in screen. If I type the WRONG password it will reject me and ask me to try again. But when it's the right password...white box.

If it matters, I'm on Yosemite 10.10.5, but this happens on my computer and phone (iPhone 5s) so I'm not sure that has anything to do with it.

I really just want to get this extra iCloud account deleted but can't log-in. Thanks.
