purchased new in shrink wrap will not registrer
I bought a new in shrink wrap Apple tv 4th gen I cannot seem to get it to register with Apple? Will not take the date entered
You need an internet connection, and the router must not block the Network Time Protocol, UDP on port 123. Look for Services or Protocols in the router settings. Some people get around this by creating a personal hotspot using their phone, set up ATV using it, then change to their network after setup.
