Sweep up for camera to bypass password
Normally a password is needed to access the iPad. But the password can be bypassed simply by sweeping up at the password screen. Seems like a major security issue.

If you sweep upwards, the only thing you can do is access the camera. You cannot access anything else on the device.

If I press the Home button, I first see the password screen. If I sweep up and choose the camera, then I press the Home button, I gain full access to the iPad.
Yes, because you have Touch ID enabled and pressing the Home button opens your iPad.
No, I have the iPad Air.
If I reset the iPad, I cannot bypass the password by swiping up.
If I set the require passcode time to 1 minute and wait that minute, I cannot bypass.
If I try to access, before the 1 minute is up, I can bypass the passcode request.
It would seem the passcode timeout is the key. But why is it asking for a passcode within that time period?
In any event it is not a security issue, just a nuisance to ask for the passcode early.
