Apple TV 3rd Generation with no HBO GO App.

I have the exact same issue, even called support and they simply said the apps are provided by the app developer in this case hbo, tried contacting hbo for help with no success. what I find odd is that the app is available in the US but not anywhere else so I dont think its a developer issue, especially now that HBO is available in latin america without a cable provider, as is HBO now in the us.

I have an ATV3 and have HBO Go. I am in the states. I assume you checked the main menu in the settings section to make sure its not turned off...

That is correct. The HBO Go app is only available in the US and requires authententication with a cable provider.

The 3rd Gen doesn't have apps, only preset channels sent via server. It's US only due to licensing and also requires verification via cable provider.

HBO now and HBO Go are not the same thing
