Q: how do I add library audiobook to ibook

We bought our first macbook.  When using a PC it is easy to get audiobooks to iBook on my iPhone 6S.  I have to listen to them in Music after making a playlist. Is there anyway I can get audiobooks downloaded from a public library (via Overdrive) to get the audiobooks into ibook or in Audiobook in iTunes?  I am very frustrated.  iTunes  version 12.3.3.7 and IOS 9.3.1 (iPhone 6S).

    What does the library say is required?  For ordinary ebooks from a library normally you can only read them in the app designated for them, which is almost never ibooks.  But I have never tried to borrow an audiobook....

    Thanks for the answer. Audiobooks not ebooks. It was much easier when I used a Windows driven pc. So since a MacBook is so smart it can't be that difficult to do. I don't like using the library app. like I said it was easy to load an audiobook to my iPhone 6s with a Windows driven PC
