I just bought a new iPad and I am trying to sync it to my iPhone backup to have the exact same settings and apps all configured.
But I a not having any luck figuring out how to do this.

Did you create a backup of your iPhone on your computer with iTunes?
When you plug your iPad into your computer with iTunes, does it give you the option to restore from backup?
