iMsg not transmitting msgs
iMsgs not being sent using iMac. os-x 10.14.4 Numerous retries, each failed.
iMac (24-inch Early 2008), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Launch the Messages app then go to the Messages menu bar click Messages > Preferences then select the Accounts tab then select the Settings tab.
Make sure your Apple ID is correct and Enable this account is selected.
Select the Blocked tab also. You may have number blocked you are trying to send to.
