How can I separate an old iphone from my present icloud ?

Go to find my iphone on an apple device you own top left hand side click on device list delete old iPhone .

Then restore old iPhone back to factory settings if someone else is going to use it .

Thx Brian. this iphone is not listed in my actual icloud devices so i cannot follow that procedure. It has also an old apple ID which i have changed recently. my problem is that i cannot change this id to the new one. do you know how to do it?

From the old phone, go to settings, icloud and then to sign out.
If find my iPhone is enabled then you will need to enter your password before you can sign out. Otherwise it will remove the device from your iCloud and you are good to go! You can then sign in with a new iCloud or just not have it on at all!

thx hyperbit. I went thru that procedure. Problem is this iphone has my old apple id I used to have. When I enter the old password or the new one which I have with the new apple id the phone would not accept either one. I cannot change the apple id which seems to be fixed.This is my real problem. Any suggestions ?
