Apple tend not to release info before a release.. it is possible it will be replaced this year.. it is overdue for replacement.
Also this is a user site.. we do not know anything that Apple keeps secret and marketing is their big thing so having the too much product preview is kept to a minimum.
They could release a new one tomorrow.. or next week or month or next year.. or stop making routers.. any of those are possible.
