automation and compressor not exporting with file

hi,

I'm new to using Garageband, if anyone could help me would be great.

i have a simple vocal track that i have applied volume automation to and applied the built in compressor to, but when i export the file, share, save as AIFF, when i play the file in quicktime it does not include any of the volume automation or compressor, it sounds exactly like the file i exported before i added these two things.

Can anyone help me with this please.
