Safari website data on your iPhone or iPad - How to clear

Close Safari completely from the app switcher window by double clicking the Home button and swiping up the Safari preview pane until it disappears from the screen. Then go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

For other browsers, if there isn't a history clearing setting within the app, you will have to delete the app and reinstall it.
