Touch id not recognised

Touch id not recognised

on 9.3.1 iPhone 6 after a few usages, Touch ID is not recognised And I have to enter my finger print again. This is recent issue.

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

Touch ID can be tricky at times. Moisture or debris can make it malfunction. I suggest cleaning the Home button gently and then re-entering several fingerprints again. If that does not help, it may be defective and you may have to take the phone to an Apple Store for evaluation.

NNever had this issue before. Used it for 18 months. i clean it with a slightly wet tissue. any suggestion?

That is a good way to clean it. If the issue persists I would have the Apple Store test it.
