Hidden files

Can anyone tell me the easiest way to delete hidden files on my iMac? I had to use go to my pc for work and had deleted it but when I check Etrecheck it is saying it on here and other files that have been on heroes well and were deleted as well such as 1-ClickWeather - TWCi - http://www.weather.com/ (2015-07-10) were it was an extension on the Safari bar and it shows it still here. The extension is no longer available so I cannot uninstall it and it's not in my extension in system preferences. I just want a easy way to find and delete hidden files that are slowing down my machine. Is maybe there a app in apple store that will help me find them?

Thank you all for your help.

Here is an article that helps show you how to view hidden files.

NEVER EVER delete OS X system files. The other files, just move to the Trash and empty the Trash. However before doing ANY of this backup your system using Time Machine just in case you brick your system my Trashing something critical.

I tried the link too and was unable to open it either. However, I noticed there is space in the link where there apparently should be none. Try this...

EDIT: For some reason the text in this link keeps forming an unwanted / unneeded space. Paste the link into a browser and eliminate any spaces you see in the address.
