iOS 9.3 spotlight search glitch

Just a weird glitch I found, doesn't really cause any problems. So I'm on an iPad Air 2, amd I found this weird glitch: when you press the home button on the home screen (any page) then about a quarter second later swipe down to bring up the spotlight search you won't be able to get off it by pressing "cancel" or just pressing the screen. It will however work if you press the home button though. Also, when you press a suggested app while still in the spotlight search it will open the app in the background, then the spotlight search will disappear. And when you press one of the suggested apps it won't indicate you've pressed it (when you press on an app it will sort of glow so you can see you've clicked on it).
