My ipod nano model a1373 2 GB is not getting detected by itunes in windows 10.. not sure how to hard reset or erase every thing.. Please guide me

If this 4th gen shuffle is new, make sure the USB docking cable plug is fully inserted into the shuffle's headphones jack, as shown in this document

It should "snap" into place. If that's not the problem, watch the shuffle's light when you connect it. Does it come ON and blink? Does it come ON solid (not blinking)? Does it not come ON at all?
