Help. I hate family sharing and want to remove my credit card info

I do NOT want a credit card on my account because I have family sharing and I don't want my kids purchasing anything. I have checked "ask before purchase" on my phone but I have never been asked before a purchase. In addition my daughter seems to always have access to my password, even when I change it. I HATE family sharing and never would have signed up for it if I had known how onerous it is. Now I would just like to get my credit card removed to prevent damage. How can I do this? It seems so unfair that apple requires a credit card.
