You can select the clip, either in the media pane or in the timeline, and advance or retreat it frame by frame by using the direction arrows in the lower

right of your keyboard. The frames will be displayed in the preview screen.


Also, there is a slider bar to the left of the settings button on the right hand side of your screen that lets you extend out your time line for more detailed

viewing of your clips.
