Apple TV from Canada to Australia, will it work?

We are moving from Canada to Australia later this year and not sure what to do with the Apple TV. If we take it with us, which is ideal, will it work? I'm not sure if there is any sort of compatibility issues. I'm aware of the voltage change which I can deal with, but not sure of any issues with Aussie TV's or such. Please help.

Just so you know you won't need a new Apple ID. If you're signed up to Apple Music you'll need to cancel it, change the store from Candada to Australia and sign up again. If you have any iTunes Credit you'll also need to spend this before changing store.

Everything about changing to a new country is detailed here. Hope it helps.

It'll work. Voltage is not a problem, need plug adapter, or correct replacement cord.

ATV has enough stuff to handle Aussie TV. Leave resolution set to auto to avoid possible no picture problems. Picture may be upside-down, though 😉

You'll need a new Apple ID for there. You should clear all ATV settings and reconfigure it for the new location.

You will lose access to old purchases. They're really difficult to port across regions.

Pretty major move. Exciting.
