Refund- Repair enroute?

So I sent in my ipod 6th gene (BRAND NEW! REALLY NOT EAGER TO LOSE IT!) to apple for a repair because with in two weeks of having it I, being the klutz I am, shattered the screen- oh yay! Any way, I paid nearly $200 and the box got here wednesday. I packed up my ipod thursday and we got it to FedEx yesterday. Today, I'm checking my paypal and they've refunded me $170. I'm really freaking out right now and I'm deeply terrified. Where is my ipod? Will I get it back? Please contact me, Apple, I really am very scared right now.
