My MAC mouse batteries are lasting less than a week. I have only recently had this problem but over the last month have had to change the batteries three times. Any thoughts as to why this happening and solutions? Thanks!

Are you using disposable batteries or rechargable batteries?
Are you using high quality batteries or the cheapest you can find?
Yes, the "Mighty Mouse" consumes lots of power.
My "better quality" batteries lasted 3 weeks as a maximum while using it up to 10 hours a day.
Therefore I am now using rechargeable batteries, which I must charge every 2 weeks.
I've used Duracell (copper topped) batteries for all three changes.
Duracell copper toppers, which I have used in the past and have never run down this quickly.
