iPhone 6 Plus flickering screen

Well it has happened again, my 6plus iphone is flickering screen as of yesterday , I have lost all of my touch screen. This is my second iPhone 6plus with this same problem. My options are to go to my local Apple Store which is a 2 hour drive, apple will do a exchange on the phone for around $400. If I choose to pay up for the replacment phone it will come with a 90 day warranty. The only problem here is what happens if the touch screen goes again after the 90 days, I guess I will be on the hook again for another $400. It appears the up keep of this phone will suppress what I orignal purchases it for from new.

I am stuck , I love the iPhone 6+ when it works .

does anyone know if the new iPhones have this flickering screen problem corrected

should I do the exchange or cut my loss and move on with a different phone.
