When a problem is reported does Apple ever bother to respond?

I realize this question has been asked before, but how do I get a refund for a mistakemy purchased app?

I meant to purchase Option A on a game but purchased Option B. As soon as I realized my mistake I reported the problem to apple and bought Option A. Four days later Option B was on my monthly invoice.

Did you get a reply from iTunes Support, and if so did they say that they would refund you ? It can take up to 48 hours for a reply, if it's been longer than that (purchases are considered final) try contacting them again, either via http://reportaproblem.apple.com

or you can try contacting iTunes Support via : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ or https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

HI,

APple never responded. I contacted them via the "report a problem" option of the purchase on April 21 when I realized my mistake. That was about an hour after I made my purchase. Apple never responded and four days later I received my monthly invoice and it included the accidental purchase. when I tried to report the problem again using the same method I got a message that I could not submit a problem report again.

I reached out to the developer and will also try the links you supplied.

Thank you.
